I purchased this domain name in 1999 but held off using it because the name was intimidating. Who was I to claim that I had the World’s Best Site, and what should I put on it? It did make for a good conversation starter, though. “I have the world’s best site on the internet.” “Really?” they’d say, with raised eyebrows. “Yes, http://www.worldsbestsite.com.”
After more than 10 years I decided that, like Frankenstein, it was time to bring this site to life.
So what should go on the World’s Best Site? Of course you can’t get everyone to agree on anything, whether it’s politics, beauty, sports, or ice cream. So this site is about what I know best, professionally speaking. I’m an internal medicine physician and plan to mainly discuss topics related to the medical field. I work for MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Washington, but all my posts are from me personally, and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer.
